This weekend was simply wonderful! I went to Abilene to spend time with friends before I head to the other side of the pond :) I'm so thankful for this opportunity to go back to Kenya, but I know that I will miss good friends and my family like crazy! This weekend was a sweet reminder of how God uses the Body of Christ for encouragement, prayer, and that we cannot do anything alone. This weekend was a blast to laugh and be silly with friends, to tell stories, hang out, pray together, and just enjoy each other's company. "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another" (Proverbs 27: 17)

I'm blessed beyond measure at the community the Lord placed me in at ACU, at Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, through Young Life, and so many others. I'm praying for a strong community to lean on while I'm in Kenya, and trusting in the Lord's provision.
